I met Phillip as he was doing a job for my neighbor.  I observed he and his crew did a fantastic job on a gate and fence for them.  I was impressed with his speed and creativity.  I also noticed they cleaned up after every visit, which was great.

I invited him over to look at a situation I had that I thought he could help me with.

I have a gap between my back yard fence and my stone patio which collected acorns and leaves from my neighbor's tree. It was difficult to continually clean it out.

We came up with a plan for a galvanized perforated metal panel which he attached in place. It did the trick!

He gave a fair quote and stuck with it.  He arrived on time and completed the job quickly.

Philip Davis is a talented and honest welder and craftsman.   I had him complete 2 recent projects.  The first was the replacement of a section of wrought iron fencing that had been crushed by a fallen tree. The second was the design and fabrication of a chimney cap for my home.  Both of these projects were done professionally, and with creativity and I believe were fairly priced.  He is an excellent communicator, responsive, and can be counted on to do what he says he will do and on time.  I highly recommend him without any reservations.

I am an architect and it sure was great to see a real craftsman's exceptional work.  It is not easy to find these days and was worth every dollar.  You get what you pay for.
